Fixion® clavo intramedular expansible

El clavo Fixion® se inserta en un diámetro reducido y, una vez posicionado en el canal medular, se expande inyectándole una solución salina.

La expansión permite que el clavo se adapte a la forma y al diámetro del canal, asegurando una estabilidad rotacional y axial óptima. La técnica es mínimamente invasiva. El fresado es opcional. El tiempo quirúrgico, así como la exposición a los rayos, se reducen considerablemente. Si fuera necesaria, la extracción se facilita desinflando el clavo.
Versión para fémur, tibia y húmero. 
 
Instrumental común para toda la gama de Fixion® IM e IL.
  
• Clavo Fixion® IM (Intramedular)
- Es expansible y no necesita tornillos encerrojados para su fijación intramedular.

• Clavo Fixion® IL (Interlocking)
- Indicado en casos de fracturas proximales o distales. Combina el uso de tornillos encerrojados con la capacidad de expansión, para una fijación óptima.
